2024 Fall Health Fair at Crenshaw, Los Angeles
On October 26, 2024, West Angeles Community Development Corporation (WACDC) and UCLA's Pilipinos for Community Health (PCH) partnered to host their annual Fall Health Fair at the Consolidated Board of Realtist Facility in Crenshaw, named "Fall Into Wellness." This health fair's goal was to provide resources that promote healthier lifestyles and sustainable healthcare for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities. At the event, we provided free medical services such as flu shots, glucose readings, blood pressure screenings, and vision screenings. We also provided resources and information on suicide prevention, vascular health, dermatology, financial wealth, and insurance enrollment to promote healthier lifestyles and improve the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of communities in Los Angeles.
