Below is an interactive list of various resources throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area, all of which offer accessible and culturally informed health services.
We have also created printable versions of the Clinical and Non-clinical care resource list. That can be accessed by clicking the two buttons to the right.
About PCH
Established in 1989, Pilipinos for Community Health (PCH) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) has constantly advanced its efforts to educate and provide health services to the socioeconomically disadvantaged community of the Greater Los Angeles area. While addressing health issues that are prominent in the Pilipino community, we also acknowledge that these health problems are common in many other underserved communities. As a result, we choose to serve every recipient, regardless of nationality. With the health field as its outlet for service, PCH serves various groups at the university, local, and international levels.
Through its three main components of (1) Community Outreach, (2) Preventive Health, and (3) Pre-Health Advising and Mentorship, PCH aims to help the community make wise health decisions and strives to provide members with valuable learning experiences.
WEST ANGELES CDC
West Angeles CDC was founded in 1994 as an outreach program of West Angeles Church of God in Christ, then a 15,000-member congregation in the Crenshaw District of Los Angeles. Dr. Lula Ballton and Bishop Charles E. Blake, together with Trustees of West Angeles Church, founded the CDC to expand the compassionate outreach and neighborhood development ministries of the church in the face of mounting problems of poverty and injustice in the surrounding community. In January 1994, the CDC was incorporated as a nonprofit organization to bring together people and resources to help develop the community.
The mission of West Angeles Community Development Corporation is to increase social and economic justice, demonstrate compassion, and alleviate poverty as tangible expression of the Kingdom of God through the vehicle of community development.

Black Pre-Health Organization
Mission
The Black Pre-Health Organization is a non-profit organization at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) dedicated to increasing the matriculation and retention of traditionally underrepresented pre-health students while also servicing our community with information regarding health, education, and holistic development.
It is our ultimate goal to motivate and support students to pursue a health care profession, and increase the amount of minority representation in the healthcare industry. The Black Pre-Health Organization serves as a catalyst for accomplishing these goals by inviting respected speakers from UCLA and the greater healthcare community to speak with our community, host events and workshops geared toward pre-health students in areas ranging from managing the academic rigors of science classes, internship opportunities and grad/professional school interviews.

Latino Student Health Project (LSHP)
Our mission is to reduce the risk of chronic diseases and promote health awareness within medically underserved communities. We host our first health fair within the Los Angeles community and the other in the Tecate community. During these health fairs, we typically provide health services such as screenings for BMI, hypertension, anemia, glucose, cholesterol, mammography and more. We always have a team of medical professionals and enthusiastic undergraduate volunteers to help facilitate the event. We are continually trying to improve our health fairs with other health services and we hope to continue serving the communities of Los Angeles and Tecate.
