Below is an interactive list of various resources throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area, all of which offer accessible and culturally informed health services.

Community engagement panel
PCH's Health Fair Team is hosting a community engagement panel for the organization's general members.

In accordance with PCH's mission of supporting the development of culturally-informed healthcare providers, we hope that this event will introduce members to an intersectional and holistic approach to various health-related fields. The speakers have tackled social issues such as homelessness, spread awareness of mental health services and the connection it has with physical health, and collectively address health disparities to advocate for and promote the well-being of historically underserved and/or marginalized groups.

Ultimately, we hope that this panel will inspire us to become respectful and compassionate community leaders. That it will help us see ourselves as agents of change, empowered and capable of making a positive impact on the health of the communities around us.

S.O.U.L. COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR
West Angeles Community Development Corporation (WACDC) and UCLA's Pilipinos for Community Health (PCH) are partnering for their third annual health fair health, the S.O.U.L. Community Health Fair.
After a difficult year and a half, this fair’s goal is to address the impact COVID-19 has had on communities of color and provide information regarding COVID-19 vaccinations. The fair also includes free medical services, health education workshops, and resources in an effort to alleviate any stress the pandemic has compounded, promote healthier lifestyles and improve the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of communities here in Los Angeles.
community health fair
In January 2021, Pilipinos for Community Health (PCH) and West Angeles CDC (WACDC) partnered to create a virtual health fair that aims to ensure marginalized communities in Los Angeles-- especially those disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic-- receive adequate health education and relevant resources regarding basic preventive medicine and screenings to improve community health and wellness.
During our CommUNITY Health Fair, participants heard from local health professionals on various relevant topics such as pregnancy outcomes in minority women, heart health, LGBTQ+ health, and cancer advocacy and empowerment. Local health advocates will provide exercise and healthier living demonstrations.

Video recordings and resources lists from the event is STILL AVAILABLE under the "Workshops" and "Additional Resources" tabs.
