The fair also includes free medical services, health education workshops, and resources in an effort to alleviate any stress the pandemic has compounded, promote healthier lifestyles and improve the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of communities here in Los Angeles.

When: October 23, 2021 from 11am - 3pm

Where: West Angeles Cathedral 3600 Crenshaw Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90016

About PCH

Established in 1989, Pilipinos for Community Health (PCH) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) has constantly advanced its efforts to educate and provide health services to the socioeconomically disadvantaged community of the Greater Los Angeles area. While addressing health issues that are prominent in the Pilipino community, we also acknowledge that these health problems are common in many other underserved communities. As a result, we choose to serve every recipient, regardless of nationality. With the health field as its outlet for service, PCH serves various groups at the university, local, and international levels.

Through its three main components of (1) Community Outreach, (2) Preventive Health, and (3) Pre-Health Advising and Mentorship, PCH aims to help the community make wise health decisions and strives to provide members with valuable learning experiences.
